Hussam Negm is recognized as a subject matter expert in business administration, with core competencies in accounting, auditing, risk, finance and investment. Hussam has more than 20 years of practice and exposure to various industries - mostly financial services, while assuming different roles. 

Since 2014, Mr. Negm has been performing business advisory services to many local and regional clients at Synergy Consulting. Before that, Hussam  had established and been heading the accounting and financial development department of Boubyan Bank for 11 years.  

Hussam used to work for one of the top listed companies - Agility Logistics, as Assistant Finance Manager. Mr. Negm had been working as external auditor, in the assurance department of Price Waterhouse Coopers - PwC.  

Mr. Negm has been teaching - for 5 years, management accounting, financial reporting and assurance to undergraduates and MBA candidates, at several reputable universities in Kuwait - American Uni -AUK, Gulf Uni - GUST & Maastricht Uni - KMBS.  

Hussam has been lecturing IFRS at Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors (KAAA) - 7 years. He  instructed business programs at Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS) - 13 year. He also trained review programs for professional certifications at Morgan International (Info-center) - 6 years,   

Mr. Negm has MBA in Finance from Manchester Business School in UK, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from California Board of Accountancy in US, and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Major Accounting from Ain Shams University in Egypt. 

Hussam holds Certificate (CertIFR )and Diploma (DipIFR) in Int. Financial Reporting from ACCA UK, Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist (CMAS) from IFC US, Certified Islamic Prof. Accountant from (CIPA) from AAOIFI Bahrain, in addition to some other certificates in Auditing and Public Sector Accounting.
